Lot of 8 worn Potosí, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, Charles II, various dates and assayers. 8.1 to 21.0 grams each. A mixed lot of coins, mostly without visible dates but at least one 1679C, best-weight coin is 1679V, nearly all heavily worn and corroded thin ("Gilettes"), all cleaned except for one, which is dark with orange spots. Recovered from: Consolación, sunk in 1681 off Santa Clara Island, Ecuador. Each coin with photo-certificate.
