Lot of 5 Mexico City, Mexico, pillar 8 reales, Philip V, various dates: 1734MF, 1738MF, 1740MF (3). KM-103. 122.66 grams total. Typically moderately corroded but with clear details and intact rims, all darkly toned as not fully cleaned. Alfred Mikalow was an early name in shipwreck salvage for having invented a socketed atmospheric diving suit in 1952 specifically for salvaging. Pedigreed to the Alfred Mikalow collection. Recovered from: Hollandia, sunk in 1743 off the Isles of Scilly, southwest of England
