Lot of 4 glass apothecary's pestles. 192 grams total, each about 2-3/8" to 4½" long. Four small, thick, clear-glass stirrers that apothecaries used to crush and mix medicines, these all remarkably intact and easily recognizable. Recovered from: Lady Burgess, sunk in 1806 off the Cape Verde Islands, west of Africa. With Arqueonautas certificate #VAL-002/00/16149, /99/20888, /00/16221.
