Lot of 4 antiquarian books on philosophy dated 1552, 1678, 1722 and 1766. . This lot consists of the following: (1) Aristo Telis stagiratae de Interpretatione liber, nunc recents Scholijs appotissimis explicatus, by Gerardo Matthilius Geldriensis, 4" x 5-3/4", 119 pages, vellum-bound and printed in Cologne in 1552; (2) El Hombre de Letras, Escrito en Italiano, por el Padre Daniel Bartoli de la Compania de Iesvs..., translated by Gaspar Sanz Presbitero, 6" x 8-1/4", 292 pages, vellum-bound and printed in Madrid by Andres Garcia de la Iglesia in 1678; (3) Soledades de la Vida y Desenganos del Mundo, by Dr. Don Christoval Lozano, Comisario de la Santa Cruzada del al Villa de Hellin, 6th edition, 6" x 8", 392 pages, vellum-bound and printed in Barcelona by Pablo Campins in 1722; and (4) Quinti Horatii Flacci, 3" x 5-1/2", 242 pages, vellum-bound and printed by Typographia Balleoniana in 1766. Most in average condition (the 1678 book damaged), the 1722 book written by an important seventeenth-century Spanish philosopher whose works are now hard to find.
