Lot of 26 gun flints (for pistols and muskets). 219 grams, each about 1" to 1-1/2". Black and dark olive-colored stones chipped into squarish shapes for use in flintlocks, from a somewhat utilitarian East Indiaman wreck that is most famous for having been captained by the brother of the poet William Wordsworth. Recovered from: Earl of Abergavenny, sunk in 1805 off the Dorset coast of southern England
