Lot of 2 de Bry woodcut engravings from German publication of the 1650s (Gottfriedt), one showing a conquistador surrounded by natives and the other showing Peruvian port scenes of Payta (Paita) on one side and Guarme (Huarmey) on the other side. Each 6-1/4" x 8". Famous engravings that were published many times, these from a mid-17th century printing celebrating the discovery of and first encounters in the Americas, both pieces aged but in great condition.
