London, England, sovereign, Victoria (jubilee head), 1890, extremely rare as 1 of only 3 gold coins found on the S.S. Oronsa (1918). KM-767; Sp-3866B. VF with dark sediment around details, first time we have even heard of this wreck, which was a Pacific Steamship Navigation Co. liner torpedoed off Wales during WWI and salvaged in 1985-6. From the S.S. Oronsa (1918), with certificate and letter from the salvager.
