London, England, sovereign, George V, 1914, from the Egypt (1922), with contemporary postcard showing the ship and bearing postage stamps and a handwritten note from a soldier(?) to his girlfriend. Sp-3996; KM-820. 8.0 grams (coin only). Brightly lustrous UNC with lots of tiny marks on rims and elsewhere, the postcard quite interesting as dated June 5, 1922, less than a month after the ship sank. From the Egypt (1922).
