Lima, Peru, cob 2 reales, Philip II, assayer Rincon, rare first coinage of South America (very rare from this wreck), Grade 3. S-L1; KM-8. 3.0 grams. Bold full pillars-and-waves with clear REX+NIAR(VM) in legend, but other side too corroded to make out much detail, very thin as a result but nicely toned. With Fisher certificate #176874. Recovered from: Atocha, sunk in 1622 west of Key West, Florida
