Lima, Peru, bust 8 reales, Ferdinand VII, 1818JP. 21.63 grams. Deeply gray-toned all over, clear details (Fine) despite light corrosion, still rather solid. Pedigreed to the Thomas Gray collection and formerly displayed at the ANA Money Museum's "Treasures of the Deep" exhibit (2014-15), also pedigreed to our Auction #10, with original lot-tag #528. Recovered from: Unidentified early-1800s wreck off Cadiz, Spain
