Broad-flan Fine with nearly full legends and well-detailed crown, full but doubled shield and pillars-and-waves, the former with clear assayer R (small) to left, spotty toning, hairline edge-split, scarce first coinage of South America. Pedigreed to the Dr. Peter Jones collection, plated on page 127 of his book The First Coins of the Americas (2020), and to the UBS auction of March 2007, with original lot-tag #249.
