Lima, Peru, 1/4 real, 1839, encapsulated NGC MS 61, finest (and only) known specimen graded by NGC. KM-143.1. Patchy rainbow-toning with underlying luster, the llama side struck slightly off-center, no wear at all.

NOTE: The printed catalog lists the date of this lot as 1837, as that is what the NGC label shows, which is also how it appears in the NGC condition census. It is the only coin listed in the census for either date.
