Las monedas obsidionales de Chile, by J.T. Medina, 1919, hard cover. Behar-3524; Burzio Centenario-81; Clain-Stefanelli-8602; Schaible-261. 12" x 9" x ½". Separately published excerpt from Medina's broader Las Monedas Obsidionales Hispano-Americanas bound in half calf over marbled boards, with JOM embossed in gilt on front cover, one of 150 copies printed, the title in red and black with halftone illustrations in text. There is foxing to covers and margins with pages toned at edges, fading toward the center, but complete and sound, and in very good condition. This is an attractive and highly collectible copy, seldom encountered in this form and suitable for even the most refined numismatic libraries. Untrimmed and preserved in its original state. Medina describes the pieces in detail, much as he described the medals in his collection, and reproduces photographic copies of many of them. From the Jorge Ortiz Murias library.
