Large silver "splash" ingot marked with tax stamp (crowned pillars, PLVS VLTRA and M with three o's), 3074 grams, ex-unidentified ca.-1554 wreck off Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Roughly 11" x 9½". A very thin but very wide puddle of poured silver with rough bottom but somewhat smooth top showing a full but lightly corroded tax stamp of a type seen only on ingots from this wreck and the 1554 Fleet, part of edge also crudely corroded and with interior hole but overall solid and impressive in size. From an unidentified ca.-1554 wreck off Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, with photo-certificate.
