Large pewter platter, ex-Concepción (1641). 835 grams. 12" in diameter, 1¾" deep. Perhaps a serving platter due to its size, with a raised rim, intact with spots of corrosion mostly in the bottom, matte gray coloring all over. From the Concepción (1641), with original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic, and accompanied by the July 1996 issue of National Geographic signed by Captain Tracy Bowden on his article "Gleaning Treasure from the Silver Bank."
