Large lignum vitae double pulley, including sheave, ex-Concepción (1641). 3892 grams. 9" x 7½" x 7. Unusual double pulley with both sheaves, amazingly well preserved (shipwreck wooden artifacts are understandably rare), completely intact and heavy, with mottled dark- to light-brown color. From the Concepción (1641), with original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic, and accompanied by the July 1996 issue of National Geographic signed by Captain Tracy Bowden on his article "Gleaning Treasure from the Silver Bank."
