Large iron tankard, mid-1700s, found on the site of a tavern built in 1750 in the Hudson River Valley, NY. 641 grams, 8" tall and 4" in diameter. Rather tall, with two seams on sides and simple handle (with small hole at top) in between, solid and intact except for pinholes in the bottom.
