Large, Dutch, woodcut engraving by Pierre Vander Aa (Leiden, 1729) entitled "St. Francisco de Campeche," showing ships in battle off that Mexican harbor (matted). 21" x 18-1/4" (with mat). Three galleons and various smaller ships in battle with guns blazing and lots of smoke, fort and mountains in the background, also the city with various buildings labeled in the legend, mint condition and very well done.
