Iron spike with encrustation at top. 195 grams, 11½" long. Long, iron, square-shanked spike with cracked knob of encrusted oxidation on the head, sharp point at other end, dark rusty color as unconserved, but seems to be solid and stable. Recovered from: Atocha, sunk in 1622 west of Key West, Florida. With (non-Fisher) certificate.
