Iron padlock with key, Spanish colonial (late 1600s to early 1700s), found in Lima, Peru. 299 grams, roughly 6-1/4" x 3". Square lock with narrow, horizontal U-shaped bar across top, with small chain and piece that fastens the bar to the lock itself, steely in color (no rust).

Note: The fastener piece was missing when the catalog was printed but has been found (picture is current, estimate unchanged).
