Iron cotter pins, professionally conserved. 86.5 grams, 5" long. Effectively two spikes, each bent double and clasped together, used to connect two free-moving wooden parts, amazingly solid and well-preserved for shipwreck iron (mostly black, just a few rust spots). With original plastic tag and Fisher photo-certificate #5038. Recovered from: Atocha, sunk in 1622 west of Key West, Florida
