Intact, linked pair of iron cotter pins, professionally conserved, ex-Atocha (1622). 86.5 grams total, 5" long. Effectively two spikes, each bent double and clasped together, used to connect two free-moving wooden parts, amazingly solid and well preserved for shipwreck iron (mostly black, just a few rust spots). From the Atocha (1622), with original plastic tag and Fisher photo-certificate 5038.
