Intact but encrusted (as found) pewter dish, ex-"Pewter Wreck" (mid-1500s). 475 grams, 8-1/2" diameter. Heavily encrusted plate attributed to Edward Cacher of London from around 1518-1561, small hole on outer edge but otherwise intact. From the "Pewter Wreck" (mid-1500s), with original photo-certificate and media packet from the salvagers (Global Marine Exploration) and pedigreed to the Wilkinson's (UK) auction of November 2013, lot #470.
