Intact Chinese blue-on-white porcelain cup, Ming Dynasty, mountain landscape motif, with reign marks on bottom, ex-Concepción (1641), ex-Rudman. 114 grams. 3" tall, 3¼" diameter at lip. One of the most impressive artifacts that we've encountered from this wreck. Extremely rare as a museum-certified artifact from this wreck ("4P-18" inked on bottom of cup) as most were retained by the government of the Dominican Republic, this piece extremely well preserved with a glazed blue-painted scene of boats, mountains, and pagoda around the outside. From the Concepción (1641), pedigreed to the Isaac Rudman Collection.
