Honduras (struck at the Philadelphia mint), proof pattern 50 centavos struck in silver, 1871, plain edge, very rare, NGC PF 63, ex-Richard Stuart (stated on special label). KM-unl (cf Pn16). Lustrous specimen strike with near-mirror fields, several small splashes of golden toning, one of just two known in silver (the other PF 64), the KM listings (none as proof) showing only copper and nickel. NGC #4427714-014. Pedigreed to the Richard Stuart collection.
