Heavily encrusted iron spike, ex-Guadalupe and Tolosa (1724). 757 grams total. Roughly 9" x 3½" x 3¼". Large spike, still recognizable as such amid a heavy cocoon of dull gray ocean encrustation, attractive pieces of coral affixed here and there. From Guadalupe-Tolosa (1724), with original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic and copy of the article "Graveyard of the Quicksilver Galleons" by Mendel Peterson from the December 1979 issue of National Geographic signed by Bowden.
