HAITI (under France), Le Cap, 1 escalin, anchor countermark (Type 1, 1781) on a trimmed/rounded Mexico City, Mexico, cob 1 real, Philip V, assayer not visible, very rare, NGC PO 1 (c/s VF strong). KM-unl (cf 8.1). 2.24 grams. Bold full countermark near edge of host's obverse (part of shield visible, also some cross on other side), attractively toned, rather close to official weight of 2.355 grams (most are further trimmed), unlisted in KM with this host, also remarkable as the lowest possible "straight grade"!.
