Guatemala, 1/2R-sized silver proclamation medal, Ferdinand VI (bust of Philip V), 1747. Betts-347; Herrera-45. 2.15 grams. VG with contrasting toning, holed at top, typically struck off-center, the bust identical to cob issues in gold but the reverse with knight on horseback leaping between two mountains with bold date below. Pedigreed to the John Adams collection, and pedigreed to the Schulman auction of March 1970, with original lot-tag #1283.
