Grenada, 1 bitt (9 pence), TR, 1 and incuse-G countermarks (ca. 1818) on a 1/3 cut of a Spanish bust 2R of 1798, very rare, ex-Gibbs. Prid-13; KM-11. 1.86 grams. Bold full countermarks (incuse G, TR in box and 1 in box) on an AVG host cut so that the date is full and prominent between the countermarks, toned all over, desirable pedigree. Pedigreed to the H.D. Gibbs collection (Schulman auction of March 1966, lot #1935).
