Green-glazed earthenware "olive" jar with wooden stand, ex-Guadalupe (1724). 3903 grams. 11" tall, 9" diameter at shoulders. Large Spanish clay beehive jar with prominent horizontal ribbing and lots of original green glazing and large rolled lip, intact with some minor scrapes to lip, accompanied by a metal chain with tag that says Guadalupe (the specific wrecksite that yielded it), plus a small wooden stand. FRAGILE - PICK UP IN PERSON ONLY. From the Guadalupe (1724), with original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic and copy of the article "Graveyard of the Quicksilver Galleons" by Mendel Peterson from the December 1979 issue of National Geographic.
