Gold ring with red stone and enamel, 1.7 grams, size 7½, 12K, ex-S.S. General Abbatucci (1869). Thin, narrow band in 50% gold with lozenge-shaped top that is covered with dark red and blue enamel in an x-shaped pattern around a central red stone (probably a garnet), fully intact and wearable. From the S.S. General Abbatucci (1869) and the Christie's (London) auction of October 1997, with original lot-card 77, also pedigreed to Sedwick Auction 5, with original lot-tag 1498.
