Gold ring embedded in a large conglomerate. 224 grams, 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" x 2". Very small but intricate gold wedding band consisting of 7 flower-shaped panels, encrusted onto a mass of small rocks and rust (the whole concretion likely facilitated by nearby iron), valuable both as a nice ring and as a super display. Note this piece is NOT the one on the dust jacket of Diving to a Flash of Gold, though it is very similar. From the Spanish 1733 Fleet, Florida Keys, pedigreed to the Marty Meylach collection.
