Gold "olive blossom" chain, intact. 43.91 grams, 32-1/2" long. A common type of gold chain from the 1715 Fleet, consisting of small, tight links with six-petal flowers on two sides (each one a little bit different) in high-grade gold, famous as the same design as the 11-foot chain found with the "dragon whistle" (Captain-General's badge of office) by Rex Stocker in 1962, this example intact and a great length for wearing as a necklace today. Recovered from: Spanish 1715 Fleet, east coast of Florida
