Germany, brass Lowenbrau beer token, early 1900s(?). 4.1 grams. UNC with hint of original luster, simple design.

Dörflas bei Marktedwitz (in Upper Franconia in the northern part of Bavaria), Brauerei zum goldenen Löwen (Golden Lion Brewery). It's not the famous Lowenbrau beer brand, but rather from a local brewery which was located in the village's inn. Deposit token for a case ("Kasten") of beer, I would guess from the 1920-30s. Apparently, the brewery/inn building still exist and the restaurant is still operated, but the brewing facilities were closed decades ago: http://www.loewe-doerflas.de/
