GUATEMALA, Guatemala City, bust 8 reales, Charles IV, 1805 M, very rare provenance. Cal-899; KM-53. 26.12 grams. Broad flan, AU details with luster despite surface corrosion, a few small black spots, typical beach find except that (according to the certificate) this was the "one and only coin that I recovered from the Spring of Whitby." Found in 1980, with photo-certificate from the finder (Buddy Martin). Recovered from: Spring of Whitby, sunk in 1824 off the east coast of Florida
