Framed, hand-signed print of poem "Marine Salvage Museum, Florida" by Rhina P. Espaillat, one of 50 printed by Wells College in honor of a visit by the poet on October 4, 2000. 10" x 16". Award-winning bilingual poet Rhina P. Espaillat was born in the Dominican Republic in 1932 and is known not only for her own poetry but also for her translation into Spanish of the poetry of the famous Robert Frost. The original poem here described the emotions invoked by a visit to a salvage museum and bears the author's signature in pencil, printed on parchment and framed in gray-green wood.
