Encrusted silver plate. 425 grams, 8-1/2" in diameter. This small but typical plate was left encrusted by the Fisher conservators due to the fact that the metal is thin and crumbling, with many small pieces already missing yet the bulk of it intact and somewhat stabilized by encrustation all over, although more edge loss is likely with additional handling.
