Encrusted clump of three Potosi, Bolivia, cob 1R, Philip IV and/or Charles II. 13.62 grams total. Really cute little strip of four overlapping coins in a straight, flat line with all the coins completely cocooned in green and dark gray encrustation with small shell bits. Recovered from: Consolacion, sunk in 1681 off Santa Clara Island, Ecuador. (Note: Printed catalog says three coins in error.)
