Edinburgh, Scotland, National Bank of Scotland Limited, 1 pound specimen, 11-11-1889, PMG VF 30, rare, finest and only example in the PMG census. SCWPM-244s. Four POCs, red Waterlow & Sons specimen stamp. Unlisted date in the Standard Catalog. Colorful and intricately designed large note with great original ink, a small internal tear is located in the upper left denominator, the label mentions pinholes and an ink stamp. The stamp, found on the reverse, is a blue oval with RUNCIMAN & Co., two stars, and BUENOS AIRES in it. PMG #1886486-007.
