Earthenware "olive" jar, intact, partially encrusted, with wooden stand, ex-Guadalupe (1724). 2969 grams. 9" tall, 8" diameter at shoulders. Spanish-manufactured clay beehive olive jar with small rolled lip, intact with a large smear of white encrustation over its light tan base, accompanied by a metal chain with tag that indicates it came specifically from the Guadalupe wreck, plus a small wooden stand and some dried olive pits for good measure. FRAGILE - PICK UP IN PERSON ONLY. From the Guadalupe (1724), with original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic and copy of the article "Graveyard of the Quicksilver Galleons" by Mendel Peterson from the December 1979 issue of National Geographic.
