Dutch shipboard flintlock musket, 1700s. 6 lb 6 oz, 45" long. Typical firearm (shorter in length than standard infantry weapons) supplied by Dutch arms merchants for use on board ships during the American Revolutionary War, with octagonal-to-round barrel, plain brass furniture, unengraved lock (complete and functional), original steel ramrod.
