Dinosaur egg (probably Hadrosaur), 100 million years old (Cretaceous period). 4 lb 10 oz; 5" in diameter. A nearly complete egg believed to be of the species Hadrosaur (a duck-billed herbivore) found in the Kaoguo formation, Xixia, Henan Province, China, in the 1980s or 1990s, with bottom 30% or so melded into rocky matrix, but about 60% of its shell impressively intact, not as large as others we have seen but rather attractive in shape and tan in color. China does not allow the exportation of these fossils anymore, so they have become somewhat rare on the market.
