Cut gold "finger" bar, 457 grams, no fineness markings (tested at 21K), marked with partial tax stamps only, ex-Atocha (1622). 6-1/4" long, 1" wide and 1/4" thick. Interesting example with no fineness or foundry/assayer marks but four indistinct partial tax stamps (showing just the outer borders of dots), also lacking any assayer's "bite" (hence possibly contraband), with one end showing a rough break (as opposed to a neatly chiseled cut), also smoother than most but otherwise typical, tested by XRF to contain 88.51% gold, 11.49% silver and no other elements. From the Atocha (1622), with original Fisher photo-certificate #01A-51032.
