Cuba (Mayari), silver 1/2-real(?) token with MORALES in incuse box above 1-over-2 denomination on obverse and Bourbon arms on reverse, made from a US Seated Liberty half dime (1800s), very rare. KM-unl. 1.08 grams. Fine with mottled toning and spot of orange encrustation, old scratches on obverse, small square hole near edge at top. Odd design with oversized arms on reverse and punched marks on obverse believed to denote a 1/2-real denomination within a series that also includes 10 and 20 centavos on US dimes and Spanish colonial 2 reales respectively, the highest denomination showing a clear DE MAYARI below the arms.
