Connecticut colonial note, 1 shilling, dated June 7, 1776, serial #3585, encapsulated PMG Gem Unc 65 EPQ. Fr-CT194. 2-3/4" x 3-1/2". Choice specimen with signature (George Wyllys) and serial number in faded red ink, highly popular date among US collectors. For comparison, a 66 PPQ sold at Heritage for $1,495 (including buyer's fee) in January 2010.
