Complete, encrusted flintlock pistol, ex-1733 Fleet (Capitana El Rubi), ex-McKee. 2910 grams, 21-1/2" long. Impressive shipwreck artifact, large and completely cocooned in rusty coral housing, well preserved and intact, perhaps conserved by Art McKee himself in the mid-1900s. From the Capitana El Rubi of the 1733 (found by Art McKee), with photo-certificate from Karen McKee, plus copy of photo of Art McKee with a celebrity holding the gun and a Polaroid photo of a young woman holding the gun (both photos at McKee's museum), in addition to an X-ray showing a musket-ball inside the barrel.
