Coconut-shell carving of the Colombian coat-of-arms with silver mount, chain and hook, probably 1800s. 64 grams, roughly 4" x 3-1/4" x 1-3/4". Fine and rare piece of South American folk art, with "Viva los Estados Unidos de Colonbia" (the country name misspelled), finely carved, possibly used for drinking.
