Clump of five cobs of Lima and Potosi (one 4R, two 2R and two 1R), with small debris. 25.18 grams total. A compact stack of somewhat thin cobs that are at least identifiable by mint (the 4R is Potosi but the rest appear to be Lima), dark in tone with nearly all encrustation removed except for tiny pebbles and shell-bits in between the coins. Pedigreed to Sedwick Auction 3, with original lot-tag 266. Recovered from: Princess Louisa, sunk in 1743 off the Cape Verde Islands, west of Africa
