Civil War-period lead bullet, .577 Enfield "L" cavity, in Riker box. 34.4 grams; 1-1/8" long. A hollow but nondescript bullet (produced by E & A Ludlow in Birmingham, England) that is remarkable as having been recovered from a confederate blockade runner wrecked on Drunken Dick Shoal while being chased by the USS Flambeau during the US Civil War. From: Minho, sunk in 1862 off Charleston, South Carolina
