Christie's (New York), compiled by Sandy McKinney. The Research Coin Collection - A Unique Representative Collection of 237 New World Spanish Coins Recovered from the Wreck of the Nuestra Senora de Atocha (1987), very rare. 9" x 11-1/2"; 48 pages + 16 plates; spiral-bound, VF. Originals of the Atocha Research Collection catalog are very hard to find and were really just promotional pamphlets for the collection itself, offered by Christie's in 1988 but eventually sold piecemeal (mostly in the 1990s), which was hand-picked for investor-diver-lobbyist Marisha Wagner Moran, with an introduction and numismatic description of each of the 237 coins plus photos of the best and most important ones.
